All of our impulse sealers are easy to operate and can quickly seal a range of poly materials including but not limited to:  Polyethylene, Saran, Nylon, Polyvinylchloride, Polypropylene, Pliofilm, Kel-F, Mylar, Polyflex, Polyurethane, and Polyvinyl alcohol with no warm up time needed. To ensure you are always able to use this machine we have included a spares kit (Heat element & Teflon strip) with this sealer but should you need additional they are available in store (Click here)

Each sealer has an element that heats up only when the sealing bar is held down. The sealing wire then heats up the plastic film and compounds it together to create the seal. We advise you to adjust the timing gauge to the lowest setting needed for the seal to allow the element and the tape to last longer.

Are bag sealers safe to use?

Impulse bag sealers heat up and cool down in just seconds, making them safe to handle and use. Direct heat (aka constant heat) sealers get very hot and stay hot. Using a direct heat sealer does require the operator to be mindful of the hot sealing jaws.

How hard is a bag sealer to use?

Bag sealers are extremely easy to set up and operate. Most allow you to set the sealing time and some the sealing temperature. These sealers, in most cases, are as easy to use as a pair of scissors. Very little training is required.
